Mercury Responsible Gambling Initiative

 

Mercury has developed the Mercury Responsible Gambling Initiative as a co-ordinated program for Victorian Venues that covers:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Training of all staff in the operation of the Mercury Responsible Gambling Initiative (this is in addition to the mandatory Responsible Service of Gaming training);
  • Independent Complaint Resolution Process;
  • Code and Program Reviews;
  • Provision of required printed material and displays;
  • Assistance with the Implementation of a registered Self Exlcusion Program and
  • Integration with the Mercury Anti-Money-Laundering/Counter-Terrorism-Funding Program.

 

The Mercury Code of Conducted has been approved by the VCGR and is available for adoption by venues which subscribe to the Mercury Responsible Gambling Initiative.  Our Compliance Office provides support with a range of compliance matter including:

  • Advise on implementing their adopted Code and Self Exclusion Program;
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Training in the implementation of the Mercury Responsible Gambling Initiative;
  • Assistance with AML/CTF legislation;
  • Telephone Help Desk and at Venue assistance;
  • Assistance with annual reviews.
